Our scientific advisory board combines various perspectives of clinical psychology with the aim of ensuring the psychological-medical quality, safety and innovative strength of our products and thus working with us to shape the psychotherapy of tomorrow. The members of our Advisory Board actively advise on our product development and support our clinical studies with their expertise and practical experience.
Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg
André Pittig is professor and chair of translational psychotherapy at Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) Erlangen-Nuremberg. He is a licensed psychological psychotherapist and until recently led the junior research group “Cognitive Control in the Context of Stress and Health” at the University of Würzburg. In the course of his career so far, André Pittig worked at the University of California Los Angeles (USA) and at the universities of Mannheim, Dresden and Würzburg, among others.
Ruhr-Universität Bochum
Silvia Schneider is Professor of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and Director of the Research and Treatment Center (FBZ) for Mental Health at Ruhr University Bochum. She is a licensed psychological psychotherapist with an additional qualification in child and adolescent psychotherapy and was, among other things, president of the Federal Association of Behavior Therapy for Children and Adolescents (BVKJ). She is currently a spokesperson for the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy of the German Society of Psychology (DGPs) and a member of several scientific advisory and research boards.
Evangelische Hochschule Dresden
Susanne Knappe is a professor of health science at the Evangelical University Dresden (ehs). She is a licensed psychological psychotherapist with an additional qualification in child and adolescent psychotherapy and managed the outpatient clinic for child and adolescent psychotherapy at the Dresden University of Technology until October 2021.
Dresden University of Technology
Jürgen Hoyer is Professor of Behavioral Psychotherapy at Dresden University of Technology. He is a licensed psychological psychotherapist and head of the University Outpatient Clinic and Research Center for Psychotherapy (UFP) at TU Dresden. Prof. Hoyer is, among other things, a founding member of the Chamber Assembly of the East German Chamber of Psychotherapists and a former member of the Clinical Psychology spokesperson group of the Society of Psychology (DGPs).
Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf
Reinhard Pietrowsky is professor and chair of clinical psychology at Heinrich Heine University (HHU) Düsseldorf, licensed psychological psychotherapist and head of the Psychotherapeutic University Outpatient Clinic at the University of Düsseldorf. Among other things, Mr. Pietrowsky was vice president of the German Society for Psychophysiology and its Applications (DGPA) for many years.
